What skills and experience we're looking for

As a popular and successful school we are always excited to strengthen our staffing team and increase our curriculum choices for students.

As well as our popular GCSE Design Technology and A Level Product Design courses we offer Level 1 & 2 Engineering Design and Level 3 Engineering. We have a specialist STEM pathway for students in Years 7, 8 and 9.

Therefore, we are looking to employ a recently qualified or experienced teacher or instructor with design, technology or engineering expertise.

The post will involve the teaching courses to match the strengths of the successful candidate.

What the school offers its staff

The school continues to invest in high quality professional development and provides a range of employee benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for any teacher to develop their practice and continue their career progression.

Many of our staff work flexibly in different ways including part-time working. For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours of flexible start and end times. Please talk to us at the interview stage about the flexibility you would like and we will explore what’s possible for this role.

The salary will be discussed at the interview, and depends on qualifications and experience of suitable candidates. Consideration of a TLR will be given for someone to take responsibility for the delivery of engineering qualifications.

Commitment to safeguarding

Unity Schools Partnership is committed to safer recruitment, equal opportunities, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
