The Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Design Technology to join our dedicated team. You will:
- Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons in multiple disciplines across KS3 and GCSE.
- Plan, assess, and provide feedback to promote student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring lessons are inclusive and inspiring.
- Support the holistic development of students academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, behaviour, and learning.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status and a degree-level qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology and up-to-date awareness of curriculum developments.
- Ability to teach across the 11-16 age range, inspiring and motivating students.
- Excellent classroom management, planning, and assessment skills.
Desirable
- Experience in planning school trips or innovation in interactive teaching methods.
- Awareness of current GCSE syllabus development.
Personal Attributes
- Passionate about student learning and achievement.
- Strong emotional resilience, positivity, and professional integrity.
- Ability to build constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider community.
