What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of DT (food specialist) from mid-January 2023 for one year to cover maternity leave. If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity within a unique, popular and oversubscribed school, this could be your chance to shine. We are looking for an individual who is dynamic, ambitious and passionate about helping every child succeed. The ability to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and to consistently teach inspirational lessons is essential.
Applicants must be able to teach across the whole ability range and must bring enthusiasm and expertise to their teaching of DT to KS3 and KS4 (predominantly food at KS4). The post would suit a well-qualified classroom practitioner at any stage of their career.
This is a fabulous opportunity for an excellent practitioner to join our forward-thinking and exceptionally organised DT department. This unique opportunity to work in a school, where students have a positive attitude towards DT and look forward to coming to lessons. The school has an outstanding professional development programme and has a proven track record in supporting all of its teachers to continuously improve for the benefit of students.
