Ignite Creativity. Inspire Community. Make Your Mark.

Are you a passionate educator who believes in the transformative power of the Arts? Harleston Sancroft Academy is seeking an exceptional Drama teacher to join our vibrant, growing community where creativity isn't just valued—it's central to everything we do.

Why Sancroft? At the heart of our curriculum lies a deep commitment to the Arts. Here, every student and staff member are encouraged not just to participate, but to truly thrive. We're a school where people matter first, where relationships are the foundation of everything we achieve, and where your contributions will make a tangible difference to young lives every single day.

The Role You'll primarily teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, bringing scripts to life and empowering students to find their voice on stage and beyond. If you have the ability and enthusiasm to teach an additional subject across the curriculum, even better—we're a growing school with exciting opportunities ahead, including opportunities to work with children in our Primary Phase.

The Ideal Candidate You're someone who ignites curiosity both in the classroom and beyond its walls. You see potential in every student and have the creativity and passion to unlock it. You're looking for more than just a job—you're seeking a community where your talents will be celebrated and your impact will be lasting.

Ready to take centre stage in your career? Join us at Sancroft, where the best outcomes for our community start with exceptional people like you.

We are extremely proud of our ethos and the very positive relationships which exist at the school. The Harleston Sancroft Academy, part of the St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, is an oversubscribed, inclusive and very successful 3-16 Church of England all through school in South Norfolk where children thrive and achieve very well. Children are supported to flourish and grow with responsibility and resilience, relishing the opportunity to ‘Live Life in All Its Fullness’ (OFSTED, 2025). The primary and secondary phases are located approximately half a mile apart offering a unique All Through educational experience. This year we have celebrated the best results in the school’s history and we are excited for what lies ahead.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office to book an appointment or speak with the School Business Manager; Emma Johnson 01379 852561 - ejohnson@sancroft.stbenets.org
