Parkwood E-Act Academy is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young performers, deliver engaging and imaginative lessons, and lead productions that showcase student talent.
You will bring energy, creativity, and passion to the classroom, helping students develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for the performing arts. Working within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, you will play a key role in embedding drama across the curriculum and wider school life.

Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Drama lessons across key stages
- Inspire creativity, confidence, and participation in all students
- Direct and produce school performances, showcases, and events
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to wider school life
Pay range: MPS/UPS - £32,916.00 - £51,048.00
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject
- Proven ability to deliver inspiring Drama lessons across key stages
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, practitioners, and performance styles
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Experience of directing productions or extracurricular activities (desirable)
