Teacher of Drama job summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Teacher of Drama to join our successful and supportive department of Drama & Theatre. The successful candidate will inspire learners across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that nurture confidence, creativity and a love of theatre.

The role will involve planning and delivering high-quality teaching, assessing progress effectively and contributing to the promotion of drama through theatre trips. The ability to teach Drama at GCSE and A-Level is essential, and experience of theatre-making through directing and design would be highly valued.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher to join a department committed to developing cultural capital, achieving excellent outcomes and providing memorable opportunities for learners.
