Sheringham High School is a popular 11-18 school situated on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.  We have a strong sense of community and take pride in our surroundings.  

Our vibrant school is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join the performing arts department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Duties as a Drama Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons across key stages 3 and 4

  • Foster a love of drama, performance, and creativity among students.

  • Direct and support school productions, drama clubs and extracurricular activities

  • Assess, monitor, and support students' academic and practical progress.

Ideal Drama Teacher:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Has a passion for drama and performing arts.

  • Has experience teaching drama in a secondary school.

  • Is an engaging and inspirational teacher with excellent classroom management skills.

  • Is committed to fostering creativity, teamwork, and confidence in students.

You will be appointed on a fixed term contract covering Maternity, commencing 5th January 2026.

Sheringham High School became an Academy in 2011 and is situated on the North Norfolk coast, forty or so minutes from Norwich. Until September 2021, Sheringham High was the central high school in the North Norfolk Academy Trust which has now merged with Synergy MAT.

We are a popular School that caters for over 700 students aged from 11 to 18 who live in Sheringham, Holt and the many surrounding villages. The School occupies a wonderful campus set in its own spacious playing fields with views of the sea.
