Teacher of Drama (Maternity Cover) job summary
We are looking for a passionate and committed teacher to join our drama team at The King's Academy. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of subject specialists, led by the Head of Drama, with the potential to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5.
We are seeking someone who is well-qualified, motivated, adaptable and creative, and someone who strives for academic excellence whilst teaching students of all abilities.
The King's Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. Where the post is engaged in regulated activity, and/or an opportunity for contact with children the position will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process, and in accordance with statutory guidance, we may carry out an online search (for publicly available material) to help identify any incidents or issues that have happened which we may want to explore with shortlisted applicants at interview.
Salary and benefits:
M1 to M6, equates to £32,916 to £45,351
