Plantsbrook School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama to join our thriving Arts and Technology Faculty from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3–5
- Teach EDUQAS GCSE and A-Level Drama
- Be part of a large, supportive and experienced faculty
- Work in our two state-of-the-art Drama studios with advanced lighting and sound equipment
- Play a key role in extra-curricular activities including theatre visits, school productions and Drama Club

Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for a passionate teacher who:
- Is committed to delivering inclusive and inspiring Drama lessons
- Has strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Is enthusiastic about contributing to our whole-school performance culture
- Will support and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their potential
- Is committed to their own professional development and that of others
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Drama lessons
- Foster a love for theatre and performance
- Contribute to wider school life through extra-curricular drama activities
- Support students' academic and personal development
- Uphold the school’s values and expectations for behaviour and achievement
Additional Information:
- Line management through the Subject Leader and Faculty Head
- Opportunity for pay progression, including movement to the Upper Pay Range for eligible candidates
- All teaching staff are expected to contribute to form tutoring and pastoral care as required
