Full Time Permanent Position

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Drama to join our dynamic and successful Department. You will be involved with the annual programme of Liturgical events, weekly enrichment activities and annual showcase events within the Performing Arts Department.

Our oversubscribed academy is situated in leafy Compton Park, adjacent to the Wolves Academy training grounds, with its wonderful open fields and sports facilities. Behaviour is excellent at St Edmunds allowing teachers to focus on their subject supported by a lovely team of science specialists and two full time science technicians.

Excellent behaviour and student progress for all are underpinned by our CARE values (Calm - Aspirational - Respectful - Engaged) upheld by all who work or study at St Edmund’s.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established, dynamic and high performing team and will:

Be able to teach Drama at KS3, KS4. Post 16 A level and vocational courses also available for suitable candidate.

Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
