We are looking for a Teacher to shape the future of our students by leading engaging, forward‑thinking Design & Technology learning that supports high standards, innovation and a strong culture of success within our school.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well‑structured Design & Technology lessons that inspire creativity, practical skill development and problem‑solving.
- Plan, adapt and assess the DT curriculum to meet the needs of all learners and support strong progress across all key stages taught.
- Create a safe, well‑organised and supportive workshop environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, safety and care when using tools and equipment.
- Monitor, track and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback that supports continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice, develop resources and strengthen the overall DT provision.
Pay range:
- M1 - M6 (including inner London allowance)
- £40,317.00 - £52,300.00
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status or recognised equivalent
- Degree in subject specialism
- Effective classroom management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, assess and differentiate to meet diverse learner needs
- Strong subject knowledge across Design and Technology disciplines with the ability to deliver high quality, engaging lessons
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
