Teacher of EAL job summary
Faculty of Inclusion
The Faculty comprises of SEN, EAL and TCR and staff work with students who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (ie., hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, autism, social and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties.
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher of EAL to work alongside our mainstream teachers to provide support and enhance the language and learning needs of students learning English as an additional language. The successful applicant will be able to teach literacy and English literature to small groups of EAL students, develop teaching strategies, build an awareness of the needs of the EAL students in the school and communicate with parents
The post is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to teach and work within a team of highly motivated and inspiring staff. The vacancy is suitable for someone looking to broaden their teaching experience and is passionate about being able to inspire and motivate students.
