Teacher of Economics and Business job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Economics and Business, with a specialism in Economics, to join our committed and supportive department.

This post is advertised as 0.5 WTE, however we are open to discussion around flexibility in hours and start date for the right candidate. An earlier start is desirable, but we would also consider a September start if this allows us to appoint the strongest possible candidate.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of teaching A Level Economics,
  • Be able to contribute to the teaching of Business Studies
  • Be a qualified teacher, or qualified in another subject with relevant experience of Economics and Business
  • Be committed to high-quality teaching and learning, and to working collaboratively within the department

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, early career teachers, and teachers currently working in another subject area who have appropriate experience of teaching A Level Economics.

Start date: As soon as possible (or September by negotiation)
Contract: Permanent
