Teacher of Engineering job summary
We seek to appoint a Teacher of Engineering, who will ensure continued success for our students,
working as part of the Design and Technology team to ensure the highest standards of academic progress
of all students. There is also a
possibility of a TLR with this role.
Working with a talented, motivated and supportive team, teaching
KS3 and KS4 classes, this is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding,
committed teacher of Engineering to join the department, to ensure that every
student makes outstanding progress and attains highly.

Stoke High School is part of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT), one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England. OAT’s aim as a charity, alongside our schools, is to help provide local children with a great education. We educate over 30,000 pupils across five OAT regions in over 40 schools – currently 32 secondary schools, six primary schools, four alternative provision schools and one special school. Due to the nature of this job, it
will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be

Fluency in English
The post is covered by Part 7 of the immigration Act (2016) and
therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential
requirement for this role.
