About You:

The Hart School is seeking a passionate and driven English Teacher who is committed to inspiring a love of literature and language in every student. You will be an excellent communicator with a strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching, capable of engaging learners of all abilities. You should be dedicated to raising achievement, fostering confidence, and supporting students to reach their full academic and personal potential. A genuine enthusiasm for English, a reflective mindset, and a desire to continually develop your practice are essential for this role.

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Experience of teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • A genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every student
  • Set high expectations and be a positive role model – consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which we expect of pupils.
