A TLR 2 may be available for an outstanding candidate and this can be discussed further at interview.

We are seeking to appoint a well qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Teacher of English to join our dynamic and supportive English faculty at Northallerton School & Sixth Form College. The English faculty has a well developed ethos of camaraderie and support; we work together as a team to ensure the very best experience for our students. The department has a strong track record of results but also promotes enrichment and engagement to try and develop real enjoyment of English in our students.

About the Role:

You will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, challenging lessons that foster a love of literature, language, and learning. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving faculty and help shape the progress and achievement of our students. The ability to teach Key Stage 5 would be an advantage but is not essential.
