The Priory City of Lincoln Academy are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge in English, with the ability to inspire students in reading, writing and oracy across all key stages. They will deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons that develop students’ confidence in analysing a wide range of texts, crafting purposeful and effective writing, and communicating clearly in both formal and creative contexts. The candidate should be skilled in adapting their teaching to meet diverse literacy needs, ensuring all students make strong progress and develop a genuine enthusiasm for English. A commitment to fostering critical thinking, creativity and a love of language is essential.
