What skills and experience we're looking for

he role:

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of English, from January 2024, to join our large, friendly, high achieving and hard-working English team.

English is a very popular, well-resourced and successful subject at GCSE and at Post 16 where we offer A Level Language and A Level Literature.

A large team of over 30 English teachers and teaching assistants work collaboratively to deliver excellent outcomes for our students. English is taught in a suited block of classrooms and the successful candidate will have their own teaching room. English will move into a brand-new suite of classrooms within the next two years, as part of the DFE school re-building programme.

The person:

We are looking for a passionate English specialist with the enthusiasm and commitment to fit in with the collaborative approach of the team.

The successful candidate will have a love for English, the ability to build excellent relationships with students and staff and the determination to deliver excellent outcomes for students.
