What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and creative teacher of English. They will join a highly successful school, with an expectation to strive for excellence at every opportunity and a commitment to sharing best practice with others. This is a part-time, permanent post that would initially require working on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for this year but negotiable on days thereafter. If that is of interest please specify. The successful candidate will:

  • be an excellent classroom teacher of English able to teach throughout the age and ability range
  • be passionate about English and be able to inspire a similar enthusiasm in our students
  • be committed to raising the attainment of all students, particularly those who are disadvantaged
  • demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
