We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to join our English department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher who can engage and motivate students; you will be a reflective practitioner with a desire to develop your own skills. You will join a supportive and collaborative team of teachers who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning and are committed to raising the achievement of every student.
Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside. We have over 1500 students on roll, including 300 in Post 16. Our strong reputation for academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student.
The post would be suitable for an experienced teacher or ECT with the capacity to teach across the ability range, including A level. The successful candidate will benefit from a wide range of CPD opportunities, including our expert teacher programme.
