An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, inclusive school as we continue our journey to excellence. Now part of the Sapientia Education Trust, we are a small, supportive community where every decision centres on our students’ learning and personal development.

Teachers benefit from their own classrooms, minimal marking, and an open‑door leadership culture. Strong relationships between staff and students are built through our extensive enrichment offer, including timetabled enhancement activities, a wide range of clubs, and after‑school Ambition Academies in football, STEM and performing arts.

We provide a comprehensive induction, excellent professional development, staff wellbeing initiatives, and opportunities to gain experience across the Trust. Our size means rapid development for those keen to broaden their skills.

The school is based in a beautiful Norfolk Broads market town, close to beaches and just 25 minutes from Norwich, offering affordable housing and a relaxed lifestyle.

At Beccles, we believe that each and every student deserves to go to an excellent school. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, engaging lessons and providing students with the care and guidance that allows them to succeed. Our students tell us that they value the way lessons are delivered and the strong relationships that exist in school between students and staff. This is only possible because of our small size and our belief and confidence in every student as an individual.

We offer a traditional curriculum that enables our students to flourish academically, and which lays the foundations for their successful progression into post-16 learning. We are preparing our young people to be thoughtful, innovative, capable, responsible global citizens of the future; they will leave us with excellent qualifications and having outperformed their counterparts nationally.

Our vision is shared by all staff, and together we are responsible for upholding and promoting the values within it. Staff are supported at all levels by middle and senior leaders in their teaching, behaviour management, career development and wellbeing.
