Job Title: Subject Teacher (English and Media)
Salary: Mainscale from £32,916 to £45,351
Reporting to: Head of Department
Responsible for: Teaching of English and Media and as a Form Tutor, teaching the designated pastoral programme.
Disclosure level: Enhanced
The Governors of this high achieving Catholic 11-18 school wish to appoint an outstanding Teacher of English and Media to work within our supportive school community.
The successful candidate will:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/ Form Tutor.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Bishop Ullathorne Catholic School is part of the Holy Cross Catholic Multi Academy Company along with Cardinal Newman Catholic Secondary School and Christ the King, St Augustine’s, St Thomas More, St Elizabeth’s and St John Vianney Catholic Primary Schools which are all located in Coventry.
