Teacher of English and second in department job summary
This position is a platform for any ambitious teacher looking to be a future Head of Department.
We are looking to appoint an aspirational assistant who can plan effectively for the whole department, lead on key areas and show initiative. We are looking for an excellent leader who is driven by a passion for teaching and learning, literacy, with an interest in up to date educational research and pedagogy and a willingness to work alongside the Head of Department to further embed this within the current team. The right candidate will have knowledge of current curriculum ideology and an ability to see the bigger picture.
