Teacher of English job summary

We are looking to recruit a member of teaching staff to join our supportive and successful English Department here at Wollaton. The team is made up of approximately 10 full time and part time staff, who each bring a mix of experience, expertise and enthusiasm to the team. The environment in the classrooms and staffroom here at Wollaton are productive, calm and happy. This stability and compassionate, forward-thinking leadership have led to the department establishing itself as one of the consistently top performing areas in the school (and indeed the Trust itself). We are exceptionally proud that in our last GCSE cohort 91% of students earned a grade 4 or above, and the progress 8 score for English was 0.84. This is similar each year. The ideal candidate will relish being part of a hard-working team and will help us to build on these excellent results.
