Bruntcliffe Academy is an increasingly popular 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1400 students on roll. The school is situated in Morley which is on the outskirts of the thriving city of Leeds, with a very good motorway access to all areas of the north of England and beyond.


The school joined the highly successful GORSE Academies Trust which has a national reputation for its excellence in 2015. Since this time, the academy has been on an upward trajectory in all aspects of its work. Bruntcliffe Academy in 2024 received a Good judgement from Ofsted with inspectors recognising that the academy has ‘high expectations of all pupils’. We are proud that Ofsted commented positively on students' respect for others, their enjoyment of school and their high academic achievements
