We are looking for a high calibre Teacher of English to join our successful English Department, one that will enthuse students through the provision of high-quality teaching and learning, encouraging all students to develop their potential to the full. The successful candidate will be a teacher who is passionate about all aspects of English with a drive to make a difference and maintain our high standards.

Our English department is hugely important to us at St Andrew the Apostle School. In 2024, our progress at GCSE was in the top 15% in the country and attainment is significantly above national averages. English lessons are enjoyed by our learners and Media Studies is a popular choice in Key Stage 4 and at A Level.

At St Andrew the Apostle, we cherish the values of teamwork and community engagement. We provide a robust training and induction program to aid your professional development and career advancement. Additionally, you will be part of the pioneering cohort of staff to teach in our new purpose-built facility, scheduled to open in September 2025. This new building features advanced classrooms and is equipped with the most sophisticated educational technology available, offering an excellent environment for both teaching and learning.
