What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for September 2023 or January 2024, an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of English to join a highly successful, strong, and dynamic English Department. The successful candidate will be able to teach English across all key stages and an ability to teach Literature or Language and Literature in the Sixth Form is desirable.
To be successful you will need to be an excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning. We are looking for teachers who actively remove barriers to learning, communicate a passion for their subject and inspire, motivate and enthuse students in their studies of language and literacy.

Examination results in 2022 for GCSE English Language 99% 9-4 (ALPS 3), and English Literature were 98% 9-4 (ALPS 3). A Level results: English Language & Literature 67% A*-B, English Literature 65% A*-B. English IBH 89% 7-5, and English IBS 79% 7-5.
