We have a
great opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of English to
work within a highly successful, committed and forward-looking English
department. The successful candidate will
be expected to teach English across a range of classes across Years 7 – 11 with
the opportunity for A Level teaching for a suitable qualified and experienced
candidate. Applications from ECTs with
an appropriate academic background are welcome. This post is offered as a
maternity cover until December 2023 in the first instance, with the potential
to extend the role by mutual agreement. We are looking to appoint from February

Langley Grammar
School is a co-educational 11-18 selective school with academy status, located
within easy reach of Langley station and the M4. We have approximately 1240 students, over 350
of whom are in the Sixth Form. The
school is heavily over-subscribed and draws students from a wide geographical
area and range of backgrounds. Alongside
promoting excellent academic outcomes, our school ethos supports students to
