Teacher of English

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for their subject and a commitment to raising standards for all learners. We are an excellent and friendly department with well-established schemes of work and innovative resources to support teaching and learning. With your excellent subject knowledge, you will have the opportunity to teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4 across all age and ability ranges.

Essential educational requirements

1. UK Qualified Teacher status for teaching secondary education as recognised by the DfE

2. Graduate in English or a related subject, with a good degree

Essential qualifications

Ability to teach at least good lessons and to engage pupils across the age and ability range, and to ensure they are suitably challenged.

Essential skills and experience

A good working knowledge of ICT systems and the application of ICT in the classroom.
