About the role

As a Teacher of English, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that every student develops confidence, knowledge, and skills in English Language and Literature. You will plan and teach high-quality lessons, assess pupil progress, and contribute to the development of curriculum resources.

Beyond the classroom, you’ll play a key role in promoting literacy across the academy, supporting extracurricular opportunities, and fostering a culture where students value reading and effective communication. You will also actively engage in professional development, contribute to wider school initiatives, and uphold the Trust’s values and high standards. A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, including adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education, is essential.

Further Details: Salary is paid monthly across the full year, in line with national teacher pay scales.
