We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader for our key stage three English curriculum. The English faculty is a very experienced, collegiate team. The English KS3 lead will lead our team of English to deliver high quality teaching & learning, review and plan curriculum content & provide high quality assessment at KS3. The successful candidate will be led by our Head of Faculty for English & will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the other members of leadership in the English team. We have an ‘outstanding’ sixth form; English Literature is an extremely popular A Level choice. We are a school that prides itself on keeping up to date with educational research & ensuring that our learners are equipped for the modern age; our Digital learning strategy is a testament to this. The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for English & a drive to ensure that all students engage in a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Have knowledge of what makes a successful team & skillset to motivate teachers to continually improve & enhance their curriculum.
  • Be up to date and familiar with the exam board and curriculum changes for English.
