What skills and experience we're looking for

Lavington School is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic English teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful, hard-working and friendly department. This post would be suitable for an ECT or a teacher with experience and a track record of success.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to deliver high quality, effective teaching, which engages and motivates students.

Lavington School is a mixed comprehensive school and currently has 965 students on roll, aged 11 to 18. It is situated on the western edge of the village of Market Lavington, about six miles south of Devizes, in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Numbers on roll have grown over the years with the school being over-subscribed. In 2018 the school opened its Sixth Form as a satellite centre of Devizes School.
