Teacher of English (maternity cover) job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled teacher to play a significant role in shaping our growing team. We believe that all students can succeed in English, and that the best way to ensure that this happens is through world-class teaching of both reading and writing. As a school, we have high expectations of students both in terms of academic achievement and conduct, and we have developed rigorous systems to ensure that students meet these expectations.
Over the last few years, the school has grown and is now oversubscribed with first choices. This role provides a superb opportunity for a talented English teacher to join our team on a fixed term basis in the first instance with the possibility of extension. We support every member of the team in becoming outstanding, reflective practitioners and look to open doors for all to ensure their continued professional development.
We are a supportive and friendly team who work collaboratively on all aspects of teaching and learning. Each member of the department is passionate about English and focused on doing the very best for every student in our school.
