What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented English Teacher to join our Catholic secondary school, a community founded on service, and acommitment to excellence in all areas of education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7 to 11), inspiring a love of English, and nurturing students’ skills in enquiry, analysis, and critical thinking. There will also be an opportunity to teach in other subject areas including RE. You will work closely with a committed and collaborative department, contributing to curriculum development and helping to drive forward standards of teaching and learning.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject, committed to continuous professional growth, and motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. An understanding of, and respect for, the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.
