A teacher who:

  • is passionate about and committed to enabling all students to fulfil their potential regardless of their starting point

  • has a clear understanding of how students learn

  • will lead by example and support students to achieve the best of their ability

  • has knowledge and understanding of the subject requirements for English

  • appreciates the ethos of Springwest Academy

  • is willing to teach other subjects across the Academy

  • has qualified teacher status (or is working towards gaining QTS at the end of this academic year)
