We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of English to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a curriculum that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation of literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring high standards of achievement.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and whole-school events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in English or a related subject.
- A passion for English and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
