Job description

Required for September 2020, an outstanding Teacher of English, who is enthusiastic, talented and ambitious. We require a team player to take on this role, willing to contribute and learn from the best practice in the faculty and school. There will be an opportunity to teach A Level.
The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills and will, together with members of the English Faculty, maintain a relentless focus on teaching and learning and raising achievement.

Our examination results continue to be strong and we are significantly oversubscribed.

 is able to teach English to at least GCSE level and has an understanding of current developments in the National Curriculum regarding English

 has an interest and/or experience in writing schemes of work and developing the teaching of English at Key Stages 4 and 5
