What skills and experience we're looking for

We welcome applications from a range of staff from more experienced teachers to those newer to the profession; we can somewhat shape the position for the correct person and will look positively on all applicants. We are looking for an ambitious teacher and would consider a second in department with at least 2 years’ experience, who is keen to develop and be supported in their leadership journey. As Second, you would take responsibility for specific areas as agreed with the head of department, alongside supporting and mentoring developing members of the team.
