 The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools, 11 primary schools, a Teaching School, and School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider.  Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire. A further secondary school and two primary schools have submitted applications to join ATLP during the next 12 months.  Teacher of English  Salary: MPS/UPS Full-time / Fixed Term to cover maternity leave Start Date: September 2021 (12th July for ECTs)  We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of English to join our forward looking and increasingly successful English Department.  We want the best teachers to inspire our young people in an environment that is supportive but aspirational.  As a teacher of English you will join an innovative department led by a Head of Department and supported by an experienced Second in English.  At The Coleshill School there is a strong commitment to Continued Professional Development and all our teachers benefit from an effective induction and mentoring scheme.   ·       All teachers benefit from personalised pathways of CPD, such as the Outstanding Teacher Programme, peer support and coaching.  ·       You will also benefit from being part of the highly successful Arthur Terry Learning Partnership.  There has never been a more exciting time to join a school which is open, innovative and has high expectations for all.  You can have a real impact on the lives of the young people as well as developing your skills to be the best that you can be.  The Role: The successful applicant will: ·       be a highly effective classroom practitioner or have the potential to become outstanding ·       be aspirational with high expectations of students ·       be able to teach across the age and ability range  This post is also suitable for ECTs.  We offer an excellent 9 day induction programme commencing on 12th July 2021 and you will be paid £18,169 per annum (pro rata) with effect from 12th July until 31st August 2021.
