We are looking for a dedicated Teacher of English to deliver engaging lessons, raise attainment, and foster a love of language and literature. To plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving our students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and ambitious English lessons that support every student to achieve their best and develop a genuine love of reading, writing and communication.
- Plan and adapt an inclusive curriculum that reflects high expectations, promotes progress for all learners, and celebrates the diversity of our academy community.
- Use assessment and feedback effectively to identify next steps, remove barriers to learning and ensure all students feel supported and challenged.
- Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment built on strong relationships, mutual respect and a commitment to exceptional behaviour for learning.
- Contribute actively to academy life by collaborating with colleagues, engaging with families and championing the values and culture of the academy
Pay range:
MPS: £32,916 - £45,352
TLR available for the right candidate and experience

- Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
- Degree in subject specialism
- Ability to teach ‘good or outstanding’ lessons
- Effective classroom management
