What skills and experience we're looking for

  • The Governors are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Food. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, well qualified, and bring learning alive for each individual student. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Food across the age and ability range at KS3 and KS4.

    • An enthusiastic, committed and well qualified Teacher of Food is required to join our successful, hardworking and forward-thinking school.
    • This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with outstanding skills to join a group of professionals who are having an impact on the learning of the young people in their care. The Technology and Food department is committed to making a difference to the lives of young people at St Cuthbert’s.
    • The successful candidate will be able to deliver Design Technology as well as Food at KS3 and evidence a flexibility to contribute to the overall development of the department in ensuring success for all.
    • At KS4 GCSE, AQA Food Preparation & Nutrition is offered.
