What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and inspirational teacher of Food & Nutrition and Design Technology. Whilst a food specialist within our staffing model would be preferable, we would be able to accommodate other specialisms for the right candidate. You would be expected to teach across the full range of Design & Technology subjects at Key Stage 3.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher to join a vibrant and growing faculty, which offers a varied and exciting curriculum across KS3 & KS4. We are looking for a classroom practitioner with a clear commitment to helping students reach their full potential, who is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching. The ideal candidate would be determined to make a difference to the lives of our students.

What the school offers its staff

Within the Design faculty we offer a varied KS3 and KS4 curriculum across the faculty. We currently have 3 GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition groups, 3 Design & Technology groups and 1 Art Craft and Design group. You would be joining a well-resourced faculty with outstanding food, textiles and workshop learning spaces as well as multi-use classrooms, which allows us to maximise student engagement.
