Are you a self motivated,inspirational Design and Technology teacher looking for a new challenge? We’re looking for a Design and Technology teacher in Food to join our academy. The successful candidate will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students, and will be determined to get the best from our diverse cohort of students, ensuring they make their very best progress. This will be achieved through planning and delivering engaging lessons, which will inspire our learners to succeed across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be committed to team work at all levels, and will be able to contribute creatively and knowledgeably to develop/evaluate schemes for learning.
TEC, based in Staffordshire, is a forward-thinking and established community-driven school, which is within easy commuting distance of Birmingham and Derby. We are on a journey to rapidly improve the quality of teaching & learning across the school, to impact positively on student outcomes, under the leadership of a recently appointed Principal. The school receives very strong support from the Trust in developing school improvement systems and practice in school, to support the passion and drive of all colleagues in school. Our aim is to embed the highest expectations of all members of our learning community, delivering challenges in the classroom, ensuring that developmental work on the curriculum is underpinned by quality assurance and accountability.
