What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a very talented and dynamic Teacher of Food Technology who is able to inspire pupils, be innovative and achieve outstanding results. The successful candidate will need to be able to teach GCSE Food and Nutrition. The Academy provides extensive opportunities for Professional Development including links to Lincolnshire and Peterborough Teaching Schools Alliance, which would particularly benefit newly qualified teachers and those wishing to progress to management.

What the school offers its staff

The Design and Technology Department is a friendly, committed and enthusiastic team. They work together to ensure our pupils and staff enjoy their work and achieve their potential. The department is highly ambitious and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of their journey. There has been a significant investment within the last 18 months with the purchase of a VLE and electronic teaching screen and the DT Food room has recently been refurbished. The Academy Trust was also successful in a bid for a whole school Government’s flagship School Rebuilding Programme (SRP) and the process of this has already started.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
