What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an inspirational Teacher in Food and technology to join our successful Technology Department. We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic, ambitious and driven Teacher of Food Technology to join our school to deliver lessons at St Clere’s Secondary School.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with great teaching skills to join the team, as Food Technology is taught as part of our Design and Technology curriculum in mixed attainment groups in KS3 and KS4. The department offers other specialisms including Food Technology. As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will be responsible for securing the best possible outcomes for our students. We expect all of our students to be challenged, to be inspired and to believe in their abilities. You will have the energy, enthusiasm and flexibility to enable students to achieve the highest possible standards.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and join a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers committed to a creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, and to in still passion in our students.
Applications from teachers at any stage in their career are welcome: teachers with the ambition to train to become Lead Practitioners; Early Career Teachers; or experienced unqualified teachers who are prepared to train to gain qualified teacher status.
