Teacher of Food Technology
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join our friendly, high‑achieving Design and Technology faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner who can deliver engaging, creative and practical lessons that ignite a love of Food and Nutrition in our students.
You will:
Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver high‑quality learning and ensure strong outcomes for all students.
Contribute to a well‑resourced, vibrant department with excellent facilities.
Play an active role in curriculum development and wider school initiatives.
We are looking for someone who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a commitment to raising achievement.
Brings creativity, energy and strong subject knowledge.
Can build positive relationships and create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
(Desirable) Has experience teaching other Design & Technology subjects or Child Development at KS4, reflecting the skillset valued in previous adverts
We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers for a July or September 2026 start, as well as experienced teaching staff. ECTs benefit from a fully supported programme, including regular subject-specific mentoring and comprehensive school-wide training.
