Teacher of Food Technology job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dedicated full-time Teacher of Food Technology to join our successful and supportive school from 1st September 2026.

Situated in Halesowen, our oversubscribed school is proud of its strong reputation for high standards, excellent outcomes, and a genuine commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential. The Technology and Art Faculty is a thriving, forward-thinking department where creativity and innovation are encouraged. You will be joining a team of seven experienced and supportive colleagues, alongside two part-time Technology Technicians who provides valuable assistance with practical lessons and preparation, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching.

At Key Stages 3 and 4, we offer a broad and engaging curriculum including Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Art Textiles, Fine Art, and Engineering. Food Technology is a popular and well-supported subject within the school, offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact.

This role would suit both an early career teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive environment, or an experienced teacher seeking to contribute to a successful and ambitious department. The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the subject.
