We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality French lessons to develop an already strong provision within our Modern Foreign Languages Faculty. For the successful candidate, there may also be an opportunity to teach A Level. The ability to teach Spanish (as well as French) would be desirable,

The Boswells School is an 11-18, very successful, popular and oversubscribed school in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, Essex.
We are an exciting, dynamic and forward thinking school community whose sole focus is the success of each of our students. We are extremely proud of our academic success and have a deserved reputation as an excellent school. Our innovative approaches to teaching and learning ensure that more students than ever are achieving high levels of academic success.
We are extremely proud of the achievements of our students. 2019 was another superb year for The Boswells School with our GCSE and A Level results making us one of the highest performing non-selective secondary schools in Essex. In 2019, 55% of our A Level students achieved A* to B grades, 88% of our A Level students achieved A* to C grades, 83% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Eniglish and 71% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Maths.
The percentage of students who achieved the expected levels of progress in English and Mathematics was significantly above the national average as was the percentage of students who achieved more than expected progress in these areas.
