Teacher of Geography job summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated person to join our team. The successful candidate will join our Humanities faculty to teach Geography.

Geography is a thriving subject at Fitzharrys, popular at GCSE and A Level. Students enjoy trips from Year 7 onwards, in the local area and further afield. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach A Level Geography. Students study a carefully planned curriculum that builds key skills and knowledge, whilst also developing an understanding of key geographical issues.Our ethos of aspiration, opportunity and integrity are at the heart of Fitzharrys’ sustained success. We are a good school (Ofsted, April 2023) with strong results that improve year on year. Ofsted praised our “warm and welcoming culture with a shared drive for continual improvement”. This is a very special place, and we are looking for the right candidate who is excited at the prospect of joining us and taking such a key role in our continued success.
