What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Geography/Humanities Teacher to join our Geography Department. The suitable candidate must be able to teach Geography up to GCSE level and would ideally be able to offer a second subject, such as PSHE or Maths. There is flexibility within the timetable to consider full and part time applications.
The Geography Department at Linton is a creative and supportive team; we value students as individuals and work tirelessly to ensure that the learning experiences students have in the Humanities subjects are positive, engaging and inclusive. The Department has a collaborative approach and greatly values enrichment, including a variety of extra-curricular opportunities, to support the wider development of our young people.
The role would be suited to an Early Careers Teacher or an experienced candidate. The successful candidate will also play a role in our highly supportive pastoral team as a form tutor. We are interested in your application if you:
- are an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for your subject.
- have a track record or potential for securing strong academic outcomes.
- are a collaborative, organised and creative teacher.
- are keen to contribute to enrichment opportunities such as taking a lead on Eco-Club.
Requests for flexibility in working arrangements/patterns will be considered.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.

At Linton Village College everyone is a learner and every learner matters.
